I designed a foundation course of 17 days for working audio visual professional and given training to 21 participants. The course contains video production management, visual language, basic techniques of video, sound, light and non linear editing. The course also touched on how the transmission system works. The course was designed and given for ‘Channel I’ (First digital Bangla Satellite channel in Bangladesh)

At present Wahidur Rahman is operating a sole proprietorship company called ‘Kollpon Media’, which caters in the area of media project management consultancy, Training, producing Documentary films for Network tv and other clients, and visual advocacy. Coordinated, organized and given classes on Bangladesh’s first workshop on laptop editing and transferring video files via laptop in 2001. Has given classes on experimental photography to ‘Out of Focus’ group, http://www.drik.net/focus/outoffocus.htm.

Bangladesh Today and Tomorrow: Filmed for the project of BBC Trust Bangladesh Today and Tomorrow which surveys on 6000 people of Bangladesh to find out the most important issues that are affecting the life of people in Bangladesh, Oct 2005.
DELFT initiative: Covering one year long media management and visual documentation of BUET DUT project for University of DELFT, Netherlands on water resource management and engineering that has started in April 2005 and will be finished on March 2006.
Pipe Dreams: Local director and producer in West Bengal, India for the film ‘Pipe Dreams’, which was produced by Rob Sullivan and was shown at BBC World, Earth Report, 2005.
Before the Tsunami-1: Local director and producer in Bangladesh for the film ‘Before the Tsunami –1’, which was produced by Rob Sullivan and was shown at BBC World, Earth Report, 2004.
